We are continuing our trip north, driving at the edge of Kalahari. Botswana is vast and with lots of sand! We arrived in Maun, from where we will start our trip into the Okavango delta tomorrow. The Okavango river with its delta was on its way to a vast lake which once was here -- but the lake dried out, and today the river just flows into the desert and disappears in its sands after creating a great spectacle with wetlands that are a haven for wildlife.
