Out of Kruger National Park

Saturday, July 19, 2014

Today, we are leaving Kruger National Park and heading back to Jo'burg.  One last coffee on the terrace of our bungalow overlooking Olifants river, and we are driving through the park, and then through the beautiful landscape back.  The drive is long, more than seven hours.

We arrived safely to Jo'burg, where we are meeting our Intrepid tour guide and our new group.  We will be traveling with them for the next eight days through Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

There is still time for another stop at The Grillhouse,  which is according to Conde Nast one of the world's best steak houses where we enjoyed 700g T-bone steak.  Even while I did not have lunch that day, I still could not finish it!
