Chobe National Park

Friday, July 25, 2014

Another day, another highlight!  We reached Chobe National Park - a wildlife paradise along the Chobe River which forms the border between Namibia and Botswana.  Chobe National Park is home to over 80,000 elephants - more than in any other African country!

We went on a river cruise and everywhere we looked we saw gorgeous animals - elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and many different birds. Did you know that elephants can swim?  We saw them swimming across the Chobe river.
